The Sony Vaio NR Series is a midrange laptop with a reasonable price and performance specs. The main highlight of the NR Series is having a widescreen display and still keeping the size very sleek and portable. The NR range comes in different variants VGN-NR32Z/T, VGN-NR32Z/S, VGN-NR32S/S, VGN-NR32M/S and the VGN-NR31J/S with varied processor speed specifications from the 1.46GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor T2310 to the 1.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5450.
Vaio NR’s Design
The exterior body finish looks like a solid steel casing but is actually made with plastic with detailed lining and texture all over which makes it look a Sci-Fi machine. The top lid embodies a 15.4-inch screen WXGA (1280 x 800) with XBRITE-ECO and has a nice glossy finish.

The Vaio NR features Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 for graphic acceleration. It has all the necessary connectivity features such as WIFI, Lan, Card readers, USB slots and even a Firewirre port. From the specs of this machine we can clearly predict that Sony has tried to deliver a budget package with all commonly needed essential features.
It also has a set of very impressive stereo speakers under the screen and sound really clear and crisp when compared to ordinary laptop speakers.
