Samsung Omnia Review

Samsung Omina is the latest handset from Samsung which is now available to buy online. This feature rich mobile phone Samsung Omnia (SGH-i900) is the one of the latest handsets to rival Apple’s Iphone the Samsung Omnia is a very capable 3G phone with a lot of cool features which makes it a very strong Iphone and BlackBerry Storm contender.

Samsung Omnia Exterior

From the outside the phone looks quite similar to Apple’s Iphone which not because Samsung has tried to benchmark Apple’s design but solely because any device which has the full front as a screen will look pretty much alike, we think the build quality is average yet very simple and elegant. It also features a 5 megapixel camera on the flipside with auofocus and flash, geotagging, image stabiliser and face recognition.

Amongst the main highlighting features of this mobile phone there are many features which we think rank far above the Iphone such as the FM radio, TV output and support for stereo Bluetooth and Apple Iphone has none of these. The Samsung Omnia comes Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and TouchWiz interface with wigdetized menu bars which we think is really cool. So far Iphone offers more third party softwares than Windows addons but we think its only a matter of time before we see some cool stuff coming out for Windows mobile phones.
