SAMSUNG NP-S3510 500GB Dual Core Laptop Review
Written by Mark
Recently we have seen Samsung release more and more mid-range and value notebooks for everyday use. The SAMSUNG NP-S3510 Laptop is yet another great addition to the range. Powered by an Intel Dual Core Celeron processor and having a mighty 500GB hard drive the NP-S3510 it’s set to attract the users looking for the best value laptop deals.
Design build or portability might not be the strongest areas for this laptop to excel in but Samsung has cleverly put a value package which could appeal to a many, as the NP-S3510 has been over generous in some particular areas such as; a massive 500Gb storage, an impressive 15.6″ LCD, a better graphics display and a HD sound output to score amongst the laptops built for entertainment.
All top notebook manufacturers do realise the fact that not everyone desires the most powerful processor or RAM but they do know that everybody wants to watch movies and play games in their free time which is why multimedia has been given more prominence on this machine.
This laptop could struggle a bit if you try to run HD videos while you have ton of other applications running in the background as the processor comes with only 1MB of cache memory. Having 3GBs of RAM does make things smoother but intensive computing mainly relies on the cache memory therefore if you wish to buy this laptop then make sure you do not put too much load on the processor.
All in all the NP-S3510 is a great laptop deal with all the basics nicely covered and some multimedia extras such as LCD display and HD audio output we think you should definitely consider this as a finalist.

This machine looks slightly underpowered to me. I suspect it will not do so well with HD video playback. Anyone bought this laptop and would appreciate if you provide some feedback.
Anthony:
We have done some proper testing and did not see any issues with HD videos. If you have based your argument simply because it has a Celeron processor than you may be right about Single Core Celeron equipped laptops, whereas this one uses Dual Cores, plus its supported by Intel GMA X4500M DVMT graphic chip which further supports the graphics.
