Nokia E71 – Nokia’s Answer to Blackberry

The new Nokia E-71 is the latest heavy weight Symbian device yet measuring only 114 x 57 x 10mm and weighing 126 grams. The Nokia E71 phone is certainly larger than most 3G phones, but this is due to the keyboard, wide 2.4″ 320 x 240 pixel display and a large 1500 mAh battery. Still the E 71 is just under 10mm thickness , and very handy to carry it around just like any other non PDA mobile phone.

Nokia E71 features a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with flash, also has a video calling camera at the front. Very little has been revealed about the exact video and still camera resolution, but so far it is known to have a 640 x 480 pixels at 22 fps camera specs. This phone has enough muscle to compete with the leading Smartphones such as the BlackBerry Storm which has touch features but lacks a 3.2 megapixel camera.
It has built in A-GPS with Nokia Maps application, HSDPA with a maximum download speed of 3.6 Mbps, dual-band WCDMA variants, 850/2100 MHz [E71-3], 850/1900 MHz [E71-2] and 900/2100 MHz [E71-1] , also has a quad-band GSM with GPRS and EDGE data feature. The E71 also has 802.11b and g WiFi.
