The LG E2251VR monitor clearly falls in the budget range of monitors with features worth comparing with some of the monitors which are priced much higher than the LG E2251VR which makes it simply functional and desirable for the value seekers.

What you get in terms of the display is pretty decent picture quality and contrast ratios to work with any desktop or laptop that you may want to use on this monitor. If you’re after a monitor which would occupy less desk space and have a lighter construction then the LG E2251VR is definitely for you.
On the flipside, while reviewing this monitor we felt that the sheer light weight also imposes a slight problem while using it, as the monitor could flip if while you press the buttons hard or deal heavy handedly. The problem might occur at first but once you know how to handle this feather light monitor then you would be careful the next time you touch the buttons.
Another weak point of this monitor is having lack of height adjustment controls which can be pretty daunting. This is a problem we see commonly found in all the latest breed of cheap desktop monitors you can buy so the LG E2251VR is not the only monitor to have this problem.
Once you unpack this thing and hook it up with your computer you might notice that the display quality might not be as good as you would expect or in other words it requires a bit of tweaking before you get the image quality and contrast right. Simply play around with the brightness and contrast controls from the menu until you see the images appearing crystal clear.
The monitor works resonably well for watching videos, photo editing, gaming or can even be used as a TV.
Besides the minor problems we think this a great cheap monitor which might not deliver the optional extras of a top notch product but the overall performance and display quality is absolutely impressive and you shouldnt hold back if it fits your budget well.
