Intel Launching Core i5 ULV Processors for MSI X

Owing to the success of the ULV range, Intel will be launching an all new i5 ULV series of processors to be showcased in the upcoming models of the MSI X laptop. According to various press releases MSI is expecting the launch by June this summer. What still remains a mystery is the exact clock speed this machine will be offering.
The recent introduction of the ULV processors has been a huge success for Intel as these processors offer a longer battery span compared to standard range of processors and also provide better processing power than the light weight range of Atom processors.
You can expect the new MSI laptop to deliver over 8 hours of battery life and the speculated price with the i5 ULV processor is estimated to be somewhere near USD $700 to $900. As for the UK tech enthusiasts unfortunately there isn’t a lunch date specified so far.
As the battle for the lightest and sturdiest laptops gets fierce, we shall be witnessing a few more rivals pretty soon trying to snap up the top ranks. Acer has already unveiled its plans to use the i5 ULV processor in its forthcoming Acer Timeline Aspire TimelineX 1830T variant.
