HP Laptops – Review

This review about HP laptops is our first in our series of reviews on laptop brands. HP has a long and rich history of innovation which is amongst the most respected brands in today’s computing world. Hewlett Packard we know as HP today was founded by two Stanford graduates William (Bill) Hewlett and David (Dave) Packard who earned their degrees in electrical engineering in 1935 and went on to establish HP as a business in 1947 and named the company after their initials with an investment of $538.
Over the years not only HP has received a great recognition by constantly innovating digital cameras, calculators, PDAs, servers, workstation computers, printers, photocopiers, computers, and scanners but now HP is considered a market leader when it comes to just anything to with computing gadgetry. HP Laptop range now faces a strong competition from other providers such as Dell Laptops which also offer great value for money deals.
HP laptops are considered highly customizable, upgradeable, and elegant design features make most buyers enticed to purchase these laptops. Another great factor for HP’s success is the reliability and after sale support which many smaller laptop brands struggle to match the outstanding standards HP is capable of delivering.
Over the years HP has diversified in to delivering custom made laptop ranges to suit customers of all sorts of needs and tastes.While these laptops are built to last longer, they remain affordable. Besides HP’s focus for mobility HP has made a great reputation by delivering the most powerful laptops and tablet PCs to replace a normal desktop. All HP laptops are designed with the best chipsets available featuring the leading component brands such as Intel and AMD, which most other manufacturers find hard to deliver when it comes to packaging different ranges of components in similar laptops.
In 2002 HP was merged with another great computer brand Compaq eabling HP Comaq to promote itself as leader in not just hardware and software, but also a full range of services to design, implement and support IT infrastructure.
