The G61-110SA laptop from Hewlett-Packard is great new release from HP with many premium features. The G61-110SA laptop up against some popular models that occupy the top ranks amongst the standard 15 inch display notebooks with Intel Dual Core Processors.Amongst the main highlights besides the powerful T4300 processor are the 320GB hard drive, HD quality screen and a multi DVD-RW optical drive.

This notebook is set to rival Dell 1545 T4300 and Sony Vaio VGN-NW20 that offer quite similar specs and screen size. The biggest attraction of this notebook is the budget price or availability on free laptop deals which normally isn’t the case with high spec Toshiba laptops. Some of the high-end features in this laptop are those that are usually offered in Toshiba Qosmio laptop series.

Screen and Display

Despite being a budget laptop the build quality is great, the HP G61110SA has a large 15.4-inch widescreen LCD, which delivers HD quality graphics. Whether you’re doing your daily tasks such as surfing the internet, enjoying a movie or playing your favourite game this laptop offers a crystal crisp graphic display using High Definition HP Brightview Widescreen LED Backlit LCD Display.

Hard Drive and Memory

The HP G61-110SA laptop sports a humongous 320GB hard drive which is a great news for those who like to collect movies and enjoy downloading tons of multimedia or even large data files. It also comes with 4GBs of memory which is quite the norm these days for high end machines, yet you get all this in a budget laptop from Toshiba.

Processor Performance

With it’s capable 2.1GHz Intel Pentium T4300 Dual-Core processor this notebook is ready to tackle all kinds of computing tasks and even multitasking is done without a glitch on your usual softwares such as watching movies, surfing the internet and chatting simultaneously.

Webcam and Connectivity

Above the screen enhoused on the front panel is a built-in webcam for keeping in contact with friends and family.

Weight and Battery Life

The only slight compromise you will have to make is the 2.88Kg weight and a 4.5 hour battery life, which is a decent capacity if you consider all the power consuming multimedia specs and the inclusion of a powerful Intel T4300 processor.

I have just purchased the HP G61 110SA from PC world. Your read-up says that it should have a 500gig hard drive, mine appears to have a 350 gig, is this right?

I believe you have a typo in your report http://www.dealgiant.co.uk/hp-g61-110sa-laptop-review-windows-7-laptop-deals-specs/ the hard drive is in fact a 320 Gb & not a 500 Gb as stated. I hope this helps.
