Asus MK90H is designed under the collaborative efforts of Asus and Disney, who have come up with a netbook thats explicitly suitable for kids. The netbook is adorned with the Disney’s logo and is available in Princess Pink and Magic Blue colours. The main difference between a Disney Netpal and other varieties of Eees from Asus is the parental controls. Asus have pre-installed over 40 different parental controls, for securing the kids while they are online.
The MK90H features child-friendly software, with Disney characters and icons. Although, two different models are being offered in the Disney Netpal line but most of the features are the same.
Design
Asus MK90H is a sleek durable netbook also called Disney Netpal. It is perfectly sized for kids with smaller hands and fingers. The 8.9-inch MK90H netbook is available in Disney Princess Pink with pink florals and Disney Magic Blue with Mickey Mouse icons.
A gadget tray on the desktop offers a number of different Disney-brand applications including stopwatch, digital memo pad and a Disney-themed web browser. Asus MK90H is designed specifically to allow children to have a magical, easy to use, and Web-safe computing experience.
Performance
Asus MK90H is compatible with Windows XP Home operating system. It is integrated with an Intel Atom N270 processor and has an 8.9-inch LED backlit with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels, WSVGA screen. It has more than 10 customizable desktop themes, enabling the kids to have fun.
Asus EeePC MK90H netbook is equipped with Disney Pix photo editing, media management application Mix Disney, Disney’s browser, Disney ShockShield data protection, and a water-proof keyboard; making it an excellent buy.
Storage and Space
Asus MK90H comes equipped with 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, MMC, SD card reader, and a 4200mAh polymer battery. The machine weighs 1.2kg with the battery installed. It also features hi-definition audio codec with built-in analog stereo speakers.
Connectivity Features
Asus MK90H includes 3 USB ports, VGA port, Ethernet jack, audio out, Mic-in, multicard reader, and 0.3 megapixel webcam. Moreover, it also enables Wi-Fi connectivity with 802.11 b / g / n and comes with built-in stereo speakers providing excellent sound quality. For the battery, netbook EeePC MK90 can run for up to 5 hours.
With Asus MK90H being priced at very cheap rates, it is a great option for parents who have a tight budget and are looking for a netbook which looks great and performs remarkably.
