The new Aspire One AOD260 is a step up from its predecessor the AOD250 and has a great new stylish design. Acer has come a long way since the very first model in this range the AOD150, by eventually adding on new features to make the new AOD260 much more capable and highly improved in the areas of style and portability.
Its driven by the Intel Atom N450 1.66Ghz processor, along with a 1GB of DDR2 RAM. The Acer AOD260 comes with a 10.1-inch widescreen LCD with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution – supported by an Intel GMA 3150 graphics chip.
Design
The outer shell has be re-thought and crafted nicely this time with a “flake” colour pattern all over. Its also available in a range of colour options, Black, Purple, Pink and Charcoal.
Suitability
The AOD260 is highly suitable for students and professionals who would like to carry a light machine on the go, particularly for mobile broadband users, who would like a basic machine to keep them connected at all times wherever they go.
