40GB PS3 Launch by Sony

Sony is releasing a 40 GB PS3 on Wednesday.

The structural change to the console are the only two USB ports, instead of four USB ports as many of you might have expected seeing a 60GB edition. It will also feature a SIXAXIS controller. A sad news for the gamers who bought a load of games is that this model is expected to have no backwards compatibility, meaning you might have to get a new stock of your favourites.

But theres a good news too! as an added Christmas bonus, Sony is calling the 60GB as the Value Pack instead of, dropping to a within reach £349 and includes two free games.
